Why did my thread got merged and immediatly locked again?

Why did this thread " What's the deal now (TS5 discussion) Dante?" got merged and locked again? It was a very adult conversation and i don't see any violation at all in this thread. If Teamspeak wants to silence us fair enough but please make an official announcement about it!

merging and locking is sadly censorship. What's next? ban everyone who puts the word TS5 in his mouth. You really make a bad impression day after day!

Ich habe einen bot welcher jede minute die Chatuhr umstellt aber diese nachricht kommt auf dem Serverchat reiter unten im chat und nun war die frage ob ich das loggen/nicht anzeigen lassen kann sodas diese änderungn nicht angezeigt wird im chat weil sie ja dann doch sehr viel platz und unübersichtlichkeit reinbringt, kann man das deaktivieren

Hi, im having problems whit the client, every time i connect and go to my friends loby, (we play dota2 together) they are using ts3 perfect. But not me, i enter dota2 and the client starts working really bad, i cant hear them, it crashes several times, desconect me and reccon again, i literally cant use it, i tried whit other servers and is the same. When i ALT+tab the game (dota2)it works again (ts3).
Please is someone could help me solve this, I thought it was the wifi, but no, im conected whit cable now and my internet works completely fine.

Not Supported Reinstalling ts3 (downgrade)

Hello, I have a quick question. So I'm trying to downgrade ts because most of my plugins wont work with the new update. My question is if I downgrade ts will it delete all my bookmarks? i tried downgrading and it seemed like it was completing reinstalling ts so I stopped because I don't want to lose my bookmarks.

Ts3 server FREENOM custom port setup help?

Hi!

I really like the service that freenom provide (12345.tk) domains etc. But I got a little problem with it and I'm wondering if someone have the solution or it's impossible to do with this service provider.

So the problem is that I have more than 1 virtual servers that means I have to use non-default port either for a virtual server. I want to associate my domain/DNS with the ip:port combination, but the problem is that freenom doesn't have SRV record.

I'm asking is it possible to forward the domain/DNS with non-default(9989) ts3 server port without SRV record?

Freenom provide A, AAAA, CNAME, LOC, MX, NAPTR, RP, TXT records

Hey. I disallowed viewing client ip adress in server group, so why when someone has this group can see ip by opening ban list?
It is no sense to disallow seeing ip then.

How can i move teamspeak design and permissions system from old 3.5.1 server version to new teamspeak 3.9.1. I try to copy files folder and ts3server.sqlitedb but when i do that i can't connect to teamspeak. Can anyone help me? I would be very grateful. Thanks <3

Hotkeys not working even with Accessibility access

I updated the TS mac client to version 3.3.0 from an ancient version I was previously using and since the update I can't use hot keys. I have ensured that Team Speak 3 is in the Accessibility list of Security & Privacy settings and have also tried removing it and re-adding it.

Hot keys still does not recognise any keyboard input even during an attempt to create a hotkey. Strangely using a mouse button is recognised.

Any ideas what is going on?

Server Banner priorisiert andere Internet Protokoll Version als der Client

Die Verbindung zum TS Server nutzt prioritiär immer IPv6, falls vorhanden.
Falls nun jedoch z.B. ein nativer IPv4 DSL Anschluss genutzt wird, welcher ein Tunnelprotokoll für IPv6 Unterstützung (6to4) nutzt, wird nach meinen Beobachtungen für den Download des Server Banners IPv4 priorisiert.

Server Banner und TS Server sind beide über IPv4 und IPv6 erreichbar.

Wenn man für den Server Banner nun Skripte nutzen möchte, welche anhand der IP Adresse des Clienten benutzerdefinierten Content generieren, funktioniert dies für den oben genannten DSL Nutzer nicht.

Da ich dies Feature auf meinem TS Server gerne nutzen würde, wäre es super wenn ihr die Internet Protocol Version der TS Server Verbindung und dem Server Banner Abruf möglichst synchronisieren könntet.

Vielleicht lässt sich dies in einem der nächsten Client Updates fixen.

Auf dem Server keine Twitch Ränge mehr!

Moin Moin,

aktuell habe ich auf meinem TS3 Server keine Twitch Ränge mehr. Es lief alles super und seid ca. einer Woche sind die Ränge nicht mehr da. Also die User bekommen den Rang nicht.

1. Habe mich bei MyTeamspeak neu mit meinem Twitch Account verbunden.
2. Habe den Teamspeak Server und die Ränge neu verbunden und verknüpft.
3. Habe den Teamspeak Server bereits komplett neu gestartet.

Weis jemand einen Rat oder weis woran es liegt das die Twitch Ränge nicht mehr abgefragt werden und vergeben werden.

Der Server läuft auf der aktuellen 3.9.1 Version.

Zudem ist mir aufgefallen das über MyTeamspeak das verbinden zu Twitch sehr lange oder gar nicht geht. Weis nicht ob es damit zu tun haben könnte.

Ich danke für Hilfen und Ratschläge.

Unable to (click-hold) Drag clients or Channels on any client versions ServerAdmin

Hello, Maybe this issue is just my ignorance of how the newer client versions of teamspeak 3 work. It's been a while since I've hosted a TS3 server, But I'm perplexed by this issue. I am unable to drag clients or channels within both the latest release, and just for troubleshooting I decided to try the last beta version (3.1.8) no luck.

as far as I know as a unmodified ServerAdmin group member you should be able to drag channels to re-order them and drag clients in-between different channels, however when I try, it's like my hold clicks aren't being registered at all.

I'll happily provide any requested logs or system information - Were running the clients on multiple machines (including the server) and the server PC is just a standard HP Envy, Regular Dell OEM usb Mouse, I've tried different mouses as well, no change in behavior. Spam clicking the drag seems to show the same the same symbol you'd get when trying to drag and drop into a window you're not allowed to in any other program, but only for a split second. Weird.

to sum up
Were running Windows 10, Build:1903
TS3 Server version: 3.9.1
TS3 Client Version: 3.3.0

The issue is that Mouse holds don't seem to register, or if they are, they only do for a second and are being disallowed by windows? no matter what mouse we use, this results in being unable to drag move anything - not due to a lack of permissions.

Any help would be very welcome. This is a weird one, I'll provide a video if necessary too. Thank you for your time.

Can only receive audion using Bluetooth

I recently updated my home TeamSpeak 3 server to 3.9.1 on Linux. I was using my android phone, a Galaxy S7 Edge, to test. It works find except I can only receive audio using Bluetooth headset. Yep, audio volume was turned up, all streams.

Prior to this upgrade I was on 3.3.1 for Linux and all worked fine.

I can always use my headset, just wanted to let someone know. Oh my Android version is 8.0.0

Teamspeak Crashing on Connect due to Subscriptions

As the title says, my Teamspeak will crash when I connect to a specific server when I connect. This happened on what I will call server 1 randomly, just crashed randomly while I was on it. So I eventually automatically unsubscribed to all channels, and I connected, it was fine. The next day or so I connected, and it didn't crash when I joined (I was subscribed again with no issues). I was hanging out on Server #2 my TeamSpeak randomly crashed, so I reconnected, crashed again, assumed it was the same issue, and it was. Unsubscribed to all channels, and it fixed it. I don't know how to reproduce this issue, and I don't know what causes it.

OS: Windows 10
TeamSpeak x64 (latest version)

Failed loading default license file - Problem started few days ago

i would like to ask you for support here please. I want to notice i did not do any updates on the server despite i had started to have problems with TS3 server runing on Debian machine. I use this server only for my friend so server never wanted any kind of license.

Also i tried to these steps:


Please set the environment variable TS3SERVER_LICENSE to "accept" in order to accept the license agreement.
Alternatively, create a file named ".ts3server_license_accepted" in the working directory or start the server with the command line parameter "license_accepted=1".
To view the license agreement set TS3SERVER_LICENSE to "view" in order to print the license to the console.
Alternatively view the file "LICENSE" in your favorite text viewer yourself.

BUT this hasnt any effect.

Hallo Zusammen,

seit nun mehreren Tagen Stürzt mein Teamspeak Server welchen ich hab über einen Windows Roor hoste beim Start ohne Fehlermeldung ab. Sobald ich die „ts3server.sqlitedb“ Datei lösche, funktioniert der Server jedoch sind dadurch meine Channel und Einstellungen nichtmetrisches vorhanden. Dies währe die mir unliebste Lösung. Kennt jemand eine Lösung dazu?
