Sorry if this is in the wrong section but,
is there a way so that when someone joins a channel for example 'support channel' and im my office a notification can/will appear telling me (or makes a sound)
So i'm trying to connect to a teamspeak server for the very first time and i can't. First in says 'resolving hostname' then it says 'trying to connect to server and then it says 'Failed to connect to server' in red! please help me but bear in mind that I'm not a pro and might have to be walked through this step-by-step.
PLEASE HELP URGENT
Hello all,
I have tried making one myself but I have learned ts3 skinning is not for me so would it be possible for someone to make a counter strike: global offensive type skin? If you need pictures or anything like that I have some.
Hi, I have been running a TS3 server on my main PC at home for a year now. Works fine, people from around the world can join and leave as they please. But this afternoon, my server suddenly stopped working. I checked all my settings and configurations to find the problem but I couldn't find anything.
I have:
Checked Ports
Reinstalled both the TS3 Client and Server
So in conclusion, I have tried everything I can think of and it all seems fine to me but my ports are apparently closed and I can't even connect using localhost or my IPV4. If anyone has any suggestions on how I could go about fixing this problem please post. This has eaten up my entire free afternoon and I am extremely annoyed. Also, if you need any additional information just ask.
I am a US Server, I am the one who created the TS server, yet when I try to open the file browser, it says that I don't have permission. How could I not have permission when I am the one who created it in the first place and was made a Admin by default?
Any help would be appreciated
So I have checked the forums for the past like 3 weeks trying to find this out. Alot of people have the thing where they cant connect to any server but I can connect to some servers.
So lets start of what I did.
1. I opened all the ports using the website itself and using the portforward.com website. Using a port checker I saw that they where all opend aswell.
2. I have allowed it in my firewall and made sure it doesnt turn itself off again.
3. I have tried running it as adminstator.
4. I have tried 32-bit and 64-bit [I am using 64 bit windows running on the latest TS3]
I have tried connecting to the Voice.teamspeak.com [the test server] and even that doesnt connect. It comes up with the message:
<17:01:05> Trying to resolve hostname voice.teamspeak.com
<17:01:05> Trying to connect to server on voice.teamspeak.com
<17:01:10> Failed to connect to server
I am at a loss man. The problem is realy weird because I can connect to some servers [servers in the netherlands and portugal] but I cant connect to any denish or english + american servers.
There's a couple channels in the TeamSpeak server I'm in that I never use, and don't want them cluttering up my screen and making it difficult to find the one channel I DO want to be in. Is there a way I hide channels and/or channel families so that only I don't see them?
ie if this is the entire channel lineup:
Lobby
- Channel 1
--- Sub 1
--- Sub 2
- Channel 2
--- Sub 1
--- Sub 2
--- Sub 3
- Channel 3
--- Sub 1
--- Sub 2
I want to just see this:
Lobby
- Channel 1
--- Sub 1
--- Sub 2
- Channel 3
--- Sub 1
--- Sub 2
I've tried searching for a plug in and I can't seem to find one.. and I don't think it's a "skin" I'm looking for either.
I'm trying to be able to change my font color when I'm typing in chat so my font color doesn't look like everyone else.
As of now, I have to constantly type
Code:
[.COLOR=#aa00ff][/COLOR]
every time I want to type something.
Is there a plug in or add on that solves this?
Thanks and sorry if this has been posted before, I tried looking for it x_o
Hi, i don't know why but when i connect to a specific server, i can join the lobby but then team speak stop responding.
1 month ago i could join the server like i can join all servers right now, but now it freezes and when i check the task maneger TS is using 40% of CPU and it causes another service "system" to use 99% of the disk. My computer just freezes and my screen get all dark... Then i need to restar the computer
I know this has already been suggested before but the MODALQUIT option should really have an additional permission on top of the already existing b_virtualserver_modify_hostmessage. Why? Because by changing the host message type to MODALQUIT it's currently equivalent to banning all users from your server. I'd love to give my moderators the permission to change the welcome message as they wish but I simply can't due to having to sacrifice server integrity. Also, if someone were to change the welcome message type to MODALQUIT and left the server I'd be the only one able to reset the changes. I sometimes don't join the server for a couple of days leaving my Teamspeak crippled as no one can but me can fix the damage.
Unfortunately, the current state of permissions causes server owners to make difficult choice of choosing between letting moderators post welcome messages as they wish or server stability.
When running the android app native without headphones (using cellphone speaker and microphone) the sound is broadcasted 100% of the time (I perfectly hear everyone talking). However when headphones are used, other user's voices tend to crack up or not even play at all ( just see their icons blink). I've tried several pairs and all amount to the same result. The microphone on my end works 100% of the time microphone or not.
I've trying to fix this issue as the first picture it's white highlight on the channels and I wanted to be the second picture down below with black highlights. I don't remember what I did.
I was conected to a server yesterday in the morning but in the evening the TS just send a message "<13:14:14> Invalid server password.", all the others users are connecting with the same password that i'm using, the IP is correct too...what can it be? i need to fix that =/
Hi there,
at this time there isn't a possibility to make permission expire automatically after some time!
Only possibility is use a temporary password...but it's not secure, because is possible to share the invitation link.
So, can u try to create a temporary group that after assignment expires after some time?
Example. Admin give permission to PIPPO as Temporary Member, but after 18H or other time(imposed by Admin or other)PIPPO can't access to server because his permission is expired.
